After all the positive reports about last years caterer we are happy to have A Camp Oven Experience onboard again. The comments on how great the food was and how fast it was served made the decision very easy and with a slightly different menu this year it is sure to please everyone.

Log in and check out the all the merch and meals in the online shop. There are two categories Catering and Merchandise  https://www.4wdqld.com.au/ficu-shop

Camping and Clean up Area Allocations

We are aiming to give the clubs the camp zone they nominated except for the very popular Dundubara and are likely to give preference to clubs who have not camped there before or with young children do to QPWS instructions that they want as many children as possible in the fenced areas.

Once registration closes and the committee has done the recce in March and been informed by QPWS what areas they would like cleaned along with any weeding areas, we will be able to sort out the allocation with the aim to have clubs camp as close as possible to where they are to clean. Allocation will be provided to clubs no later than the trip leaders day.

Volunteering

Without volunteers this event just cannot happen and we call on clubs to stand up and offer help while on the Island with the many tasks that need to be done.

It would be great if clubs could provide some members to help at the rubbish collection stations, help to sell the raffle tickets on Sunday night and many other tasks needed. The Caloundra club has again offered to help everyone park their cars at the dinner, so please if your club would like to help contact admin@ficu.org,au

Imagine if no one volunteered, what sort of event it would be!
