Four Wheel Drive Queensland's purpose is to represent our member clubs and their members. We endeavor to seek and promote positive outcomes for the greater four wheel driving community in Queensland.
To this end we are the peak organisation representing four wheel driving in Queensland.
Four Wheel Drive Queensland (4WD Qld) was formed over 25 years ago. Several members from various Four Wheel Drive Clubs across the State joined together in an effort to unite the voice of Four Wheel Drivers in promoting recreational Four Wheel Driving.
The management team are all club members and volunteers.
We are dedicated to:
Conservation, Access, Recreation and Environment (CARE), working directly with organisation such National Parks, Recreation Sport and Racing, Queensland Outdoor Recreation Federation and Department of Environment and Heritage Protection.
Driver Awareness Unit (DAU), we are a Registered Training Organisation and work with clubs in providing nationally accredited Four Wheel Drive Training
Technical standards and consultation, via the Australian Confederation of Motor Clubs - Queensland, on matters affecting vehicle modifications and on-road use.
Tackling national four wheel drive issues with our other state and territory colleagues who together make up Four Wheel Drive Australia, of which Four Wheel Drive Queensland is a founding member.
